Big Bob’s Bowling is looking for friendly, energetic Bowl Desk Attendants to help create a fun and welcoming environment for our guests. In this role, you will assist customers with lane assignments, shoe rentals, and scoring systems while ensuring the bowling area operates smoothly and efficiently.
The Bowl Desk Attendant plays an important role in the guest experience by answering questions, helping troubleshoot minor lanes or scoring issues, maintaining a clean bowling area, and supporting special events such as leagues, tournaments, and parties.
To succeed in this role, you should be hospitality-focused, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced entertainment environment. A positive attitude, strong teamwork, and the ability to stay calm under pressure are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and provide information about bowling services, pricing, and promotions.
- Assistwith lane assignments, shoe rentals, and scoring system setup.
- Monitor bowling lanes to ensure proper functionality and address minor technical issues with lane equipment or scoring systems, reporting unresolved issues to management.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, concerns, and requests.
- Provide guidance on proper bowling techniques and ensure all safety guidelines are followed. Address unsafe behavior and report incidents to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized bowling environment, including ball return stations, seating areas, rental shoes, and the bowl desk.
- Support the setup, coordination, and management ofspecial eventssuch as bowling leagues, tournaments, birthday parties, and group events.
- Work closely with other team members, including servers and bartenders, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Monitor and help manage inventory levels of bowling supplies such as balls, shoes, and accessories.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Requirements:

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with increased hours during peak seasons.
- Prior customer service or entertainment venue experience is a plus but notrequired.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to climb stairs and move throughout the facility as needed.
- Must be able tolift upto 50 pounds at times.
- Comfortable working in an environment with loud noise, flashing lights, and repetitive motion.
