Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as ingredient prep and basic plating support when needed
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by bussing tables and clearing used dishware from dining areas
- Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen and dishwashing areas by following proper cleaning procedures and schedules
- Help with catering setups and banquet service by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use
- Follow food handling guidelines to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during service hours and special events
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices and sanitation procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained at all times
