Responsibilities:
As a Customer Operations Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing customer service and managing the sales processes. This includes sourcing and quoting activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and manage the customer order process
- Build customer trust through strong communication
- Liaising with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of goods
-Be able to lift 25 lbs, responsible for estimating and quoting shipping for domestic and international orders. Hazardous Goods experience is a plus. Packing is required. Handling of paperwork for exports is required.
-Be detailed oriented and focused on delighting customers
Experience:
We are looking for a Customer Operations Specialist with excellent communication and organizational skills. That also has a strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills.
- Organizational skills including time management are a must
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus or other order management software
- Knowledge of lab equipment is a plus
- Customer management experience
- Note: this is not just a customer service role. It is an operations role with customer management and order fulfillment responsibilities.
