POSITION OVERVIEW
The Drop Team Clerk is responsible for performing cash and ticket collection from electronic gaming machines, ensuring accurate reconciliation of funds, and maintaining compliance with company policies and gaming regulations. This position requires a high level of dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically active environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
Collect cash and ticket cassettes from electronic gaming machines.
Count and reconcile monies collected from slot machines.
Perform drop and count procedures for multiple store locations daily.
Maintain accurate documentation of all transactions and collections.
Adhere to all company policies and gaming regulatory requirements.
Safeguard company assets and ensure proper handling of funds.
Perform additional duties assigned to support the department.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required . Minimum of 6 months cash handling experience required .
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Demonstrated reliability and strong attendance record.
Basic math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately.
Valid Nevada driver’s license with a clean, current DMV printout.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
Must obtain Gaming Registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required .
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
