What You’ll Be Doing
- Review each product to determine the required material needed to perform the job
- Ensure you have the proper tools and materials required to repair the product to an insurance quality standard
- Grind, sand, clean, and polish auto lights lenses to return product to an Insurance Quality state
- Ensure quality control standards are met and you adhere to safety standards
- Work with team members to identify and develop improved methods of repair
- Comply with all safety standards and requirements to assure a safe and hazard-free warehouse environment with focus on injury prevention.
- Warehouse experience of 1 year or more in manufacturing or factory environment preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent practical experience.
- Grinding and polishing repair work experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong focus on quality – deeply care about the product and your work.
- High degree of professional credibility, including responsiveness, team focus, and interest and ability to perform work in a safe environment.
- Must be able to concentrate for long periods of time while standing
- Physical ability to access all areas of the facility, withstand various activities such as frequent walking, standing, bending, and maintain manual dexterity to access computer via computer keyboard.
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours.
- Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds.
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
- Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.
