Responsibilities/Duties
- Ability to use work instructions to machine parts.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools.
- Works in one family of machines. Examples Lathes and Mills, Lapping, Cam ring grinding.
- Perform Other duties as assigned
- Ability to use basic measuring tools (Micrometer, calipers and indicators)
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form
- Minimum of 2 years machine shop experience but not required
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be detailed oriented
- Follow all safety and workplace procedures
- Problem solving
- Report any problems that arise to the lead or supervisor
- Capable of performing multiple tasks with a focus towards completing each assignment in a timely, accurate manner that meets established guidelines
- Ability to read & understand service parts manuals
- Organizational skills with excellent housekeeping habits
- Proven experience working in a team environment
- Available to work extended hours during the week and weekend as needed
- Ability to effectively communicate with others to express departmental needs and any required follow ups

- Able to lift 25lbs and more daily.
- Safety Glasses and steel/safety toed work boots are required.
