What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Shop Assistant position at Terrene, Inc.?
Terrene, Inc. is hiring a Manufacturing Shop Assistant to help keep our production floor running smoothly while maintaining high standards for quality and reliability. We're looking for someone who’s dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to learn.
What You’ll Do:
- Load and unload CNC laser cutting machines.
- Perform finishing tasks such as deburring, graining, and packaging.
- Support machine operators with materials, labeling, and production flow.
- Keep workstations clean and follow safety procedures.
- Pitch in with general labor and special projects as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- A team player with a strong work ethic and a good attitude.
- Willingness to learn and receive on-the-job training.
- Comfortable lifting 50 pounds and being on your feet.
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
- Forklift operation (we’ll train you if needed).
- A person with a knowledge of CAD software, a mechanical aptitude and/or experience in a manufacturing environment will be strongly considered.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $20/hour or higher, depending on experience.
- 90-day pay review.
- Health insurance, vision coverage, and paid holidays.
- Full-time, day shift, Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
