We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Batch Plant Operator to oversee the daily operations of our concrete batching facility in Orlando. Responsibilities
- Operate Command Alkon and monitor concrete batching equipment, including mixers, conveyors, and silos, to produce consistent concrete mixes according to specifications.
- Manage the loading and unloading of raw materials such as cement, aggregates, and additives using forklifts and other heavy equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on plant machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Adjust batching parameters as needed to meet project requirements and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, batch logs, and equipment maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely supply of concrete materials.
- Conduct safety checks around the plant area, enforce safety protocols, and report any hazards or incidents immediately.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, front end loaders, concrete mixers, and other manufacturing machinery.
- Mechanical knowledge related to plant equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs.
- Ability to ensure quality control throughout production.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and plant operations.
- Experience with Command Alkon and Central Mix Plants.
