Direct Support Staff

TARC is a mission-driven organization dedicated to supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in building independence, workplace skills, and meaningful employment.

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Workers / Job Coaches to provide hands-on support in real work environments across our community-based businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and job coaching to adults with IDD
• Assist individuals in learning job tasks, routines, and workplace expectations
• Support individuals in achieving employment and independence goals
• Encourage positive social interactions and professional behavior
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment
• Monitor progress and provide guidance as needed

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to support individuals with varying abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in caregiving, coaching, or human services is a plus (but not required)
