This position is responsible for facility cleaning duties as assigned and ensuring that assigned areas are cleaned and prepared for our guest’s experience at the property.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Candidate’s areas of responsibility include cleaning gaming machines & gaming rooms, rest rooms, lobby, entrance way, dining rooms & bars. Candidate will also wipe down machines, sweep, mop, & trash disposal. Ensure any lost and found items are turned in to be logged, maintain a clean and organized work area, interact with guests on occasion while cleaning. When walking through aisle ways, candidate should make sure all vacant, non-fixed slot seating is appropriate tucked in as close the slot machine as possible and aisle way is maintained. Candidate will be responsible for all other duties as assigned by management.

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and interact with internal departments
Maintaining a professional working relationship among other team members
Oral and written communication skills
Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and integrity
Must be detail oriented, have a professional attitude, strong organizational and time management skills, and be customer-focused
Education And Experience
1-year housekeeping experience preferred but not required. Candidate must be physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation.
LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
