What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at TERRAPIN LOGISTICS INC?
Description
Terrapin Logistics Inc. has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for full-time package delivery drivers! Drivers will operate out of the terminal located at 802 E Centre Park Blvd, DeSoto, TX 75115 and deliver to homes and businesses in the metroplex. Drivers will use their own vehicle.
Starting Pay: $2.00 per stop / Stops per day can range from 50-100
Schedule:
Monday-Sunday operation must have weekend availability and drivers should expect to work at least 1 weekend day.
The hours are from 7:00 a.m. until delivery completion.

Experience level:
At least 1 year in a previous delivery position (FedEx, Amazon, Uber, Lyft, etc.)
Shift:
Day shift (Most drivers can do about 100 stops in 8 hours, area and stops vary)

Requirements
Delivery Driver Requirements:
At least 21 years of age Must submit to a background check. Ability to lift 50 lbs. max and work in all weather conditions. All parcels are under 42” max.
Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
Deliver all packages daily within the prescribed time windows. Operate your vehicle in a safe, secure and competent manner. Report to the station prepared to examine and organize daily load before departure. Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weight w/o damage to the package or injury to oneself or others.
