We are looking for a compassionate, dependable female Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide in-home respite services for a young girl in the Quarryville area. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking flexible, part-time evening work while making a meaningful impact.
Schedule
- Up to 20 hours per month
- Typical shifts:
- 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Flexible evenings based on family needs
- Ideal as a supplemental or backup position
- Provide quality in-home respite support
- Assist with personal care, including toileting and diapering
- Learn and provide individual-specific medical supports (paid training provided)
- Engage in appropriate activities while ensuring health, safety, and comfort
- Complete required documentation
- Non-smoker
- Willing to maintain a fragrance-free environment (including perfumes, lotions, and scented laundry products while working)
- FBI Criminal Background Check
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
- Current CPR & First Aid Certification
- Reliable transportation
- Comfortable providing personal care and learning medical support tasks
