About Terramtech

Terramtech is reimagining materials through science, innovation, and sustainable design. We believe the future of materials should protect resources, reduce waste, and create better outcomes for people and the planet. As an early-stage, high-growth company, we are building not only breakthrough technologies—but also the operational foundation required to scale responsibly.

We are seeking a Director of Finance who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves in the details and stepping into strategic conversations with executive leadership and investors. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building systems from the ground up, and can translate financial complexity into actionable business decisions.

You will partner closely with executive leadership to provide financial insights, assess business performance and ensure the organization has the data needed to make thoughtful, informed decisions.

  • Improve financial processes, systems, and controls to support a scaling organization.
  • Establish and track key business metrics and KPIs across departments.
  • Help implement reporting frameworks that support organizational transparency and accountability.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to leaders across operations, science, engineering, commercialization, and people functions.
  • Bring financial discipline while balancing the realities of an evolving growth-stage environment.

In the first 12 months, success in this role may include:

  • Establishing meaningful KPI dashboards for executive decision-making
  • Improving forecast accuracy and visibility into cash and operational performance
  • Creating board-ready reporting materials that simplify complex financial information
