Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the beauty and health of our clients' landscapes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and horticulture, along with the ability to operate various tools and equipment effectively. Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, fertilizing, and aerating lawns.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as trimming shrubs, pruning trees, and planting flowers.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery like excavators for various landscaping projects.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution.
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible.
- Collaborate with team members on hardscape projects including patios and walkways.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and repairs as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their landscaping needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery operation is essential.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Knowledge of tree care practices including tree trimming and maintenance is a plus.
