- Perform repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance on engines, motors, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures efficiently by analyzing symptoms and applying technical knowledge to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance tasks based on operational needs.
- Use diagnostic tools effectively to test electrical circuits, ensuring all systems operate reliably.
Experience
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar hands-on technical role with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing is highly desirable.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to accurately diagnose issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an active approach to troubleshooting complex mechanical problems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain precise maintenance records.
