What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians on field and laboratory assignments
- Support active project work and observe how technical decisions translate to client and community outcomes
- Build core skills in sampling, testing, data analysis, and report development
- Receive mentorship from professionals committed to helping you grow
- Participate in a nationwide internship cohort program and share your experience with executive leadership
Key Learning Areas
- Safe field and laboratory practices that reflect Terracon’s “Safety First” culture
- ASTM, DOT, and COE testing standards
- Proposal and technical report development
- Project management fundamentals
- Quality management systems that support reliable results
- Effective client communication and consulting skills
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, science, technical, or business related fields
- Interest in consulting and fieldwork
- Demonstrated curiosity, teamwork, and alignment with Terracon’s values
- A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required
