Essential Roles And Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture standards, best practices, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions.
- Perform cloud infrastructure assessments and provide recommendations for optimization and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place and tested regularly.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary improvements.
- Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior cloud engineers and architects.
- Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
- Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field and a minimum 7 years of progressive experience in Information Technology. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 11 years’ relevant experience.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with a focus on Azure, AWS, and Oracle OCI.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing cloud solutions using Azure and Oracle OCI services.
- Experience with cloud security, compliance, and governance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.
