Job Summary
The Terrace Bay Hotel is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. Our housekeeping staff is the heart of our hotel, ensuring that every guest walks into a clean, comfortable, and welcoming space. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and Sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms to the highest standard.
- Restock guest room amenities such as toiletries, linens, and beverages.
- Maintain a clean and organized cart with all necessary supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods (up to 25 lbs).
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Must be able to pass a background check
