Painter
Campland on the Bay and Mission Bay RV Resorts are beautiful RV resort by the water, located in the Pacific Beach neighborhood of San Diego, is looking for a full-time, dedicated painter.
DESCRIPTION:
Apply paint, stain and other finishes to property walls, ceilings, and furniture using brushes, spray guns, or rollers. Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for finish coats. Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, and wire brushing. Cover surfaces with appropriate material for protection during painting and post appropriate paint signs. Clean up and store paint and painting tools and equipment in appropriate areas. Coordinate with managers in order to modify colors of paint, stain, or varnish. Maintain and repair caulked, grouted, wood and masonry surfaces. Manage related supply inventory
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3 years painting & coatings prep and application. Other wall covering application skills preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of paint, varnish, stain, masonry work and other related products as well as application and mixing procedures of such products.
- Ability to perform basic carpentry and drywall tasks
- Working knowledge of basic hand tools and other equipment including: brushes, rollers, scrapers, sandpaper, spray guns, lifts, etc.
- Considerable knowledge of OSHA standards and application for working with chemicals
- Clear English language communication skills are needed in order to fully comprehend job assignments, read and understand manufacturer instructions in preparing and mixing paint or masonry products, and adhere to safety warnings, as well as for interaction with guests.
