Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Downingtown, PA, for a Demolition Project Manager/Superintendent, Heavy Equipment Operators, and Industrial Riggers. Team members plan, coordinate, and execute demolition and environmental remediation projects from mobilization through closeout, ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Day-to-day responsibilities may include supervising field crews, operating heavy equipment, performing industrial rigging activities, and supporting the setup, monitoring, and completion of demolition tasks in industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities. The role involves reading and interpreting drawings and specifications, assisting with site logistics, managing tools and equipment, and maintaining accurate daily reports and documentation. Personnel in these positions work closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors, follow strict safety protocols, and participate in ongoing training and compliance activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in demolition, environmental remediation, or related construction fields, with knowledge of industrial, commercial, or institutional project sites.
- Demolition project management or field supervision skills, including scheduling, crew coordination, subcontractor oversight, and budget and documentation support.
- Heavy equipment operating skills (e.g., excavators, loaders, skid steers, forklifts) with the ability to perform precise work in constrained or sensitive environments.
- Industrial rigging experience, including safe lifting, moving, and setting of heavy or complex equipment and structures using appropriate rigging hardware and techniques.
- Strong commitment to safety, including familiarity with OSHA regulations, hazard recognition, job safety analysis, and adherence to site-specific safety plans.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and work plans, and to follow written and verbal instructions in a dynamic field environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork with the ability to coordinate with project managers, field crews, clients, and bring Emotional Intelligence and a POSITIVE MINDSET!
