Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Loader/Forklift operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the logistics process by ensuring that materials are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to operate various warehouse equipment.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years loading and inventory control experience.
The Shipping Loader will report directly to the Director of Operations and manage all shipping functions to maintain on-time delivery of products.
Duties
· Daily inspection of forklifts, reporting of any damage or technical issues immediately
· Picking and preparing product for loading as per the pick ticket
· Ensuring that product in the storage yard & warehouse are neatly and safely stored
· Safely loading, unloading, and receiving of products/materials using a forklift
· Relocate items within the warehouse or factory using a forklift
· Assist with inventory control (cycle and annual inventory counts)
· Ensure health and safety guidelines are met - Identify and report any safety hazards
· Monitoring forklift hours & reporting upcoming scheduled maintenance
This is an outdoor position working in our loading yard.
**Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Day shift, Monday through Friday 8-4:30.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
