At Terra Energy, we’re on a mission to make clean, reliable solar energy accessible to homeowners across Florida. We’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented Solar Project Manager to oversee residential solar projects from post-sale to full interconnection. You’ll ensure projects move efficiently through design, engineering, permitting, installation, and utility approval while keeping customers and internal teams aligned.
What You’ll Do
Manage residential solar projects end-to-end, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and utility partners.
Define scopes of work with engineering teams and track project budgets, invoices, and milestone-based payments.
Coordinate permits, approvals, and inspections while working closely with city officials and utility inspectors to secure necessary authorizations.
Lead risk mitigation efforts by identifying potential issues and ensuring compliance with zoning regulations, building codes, and utility requirements.
Coordinate site evaluations, equipment deliveries, installation crews, and scheduling to meet project timelines.
Provide ongoing updates and guidance to clients, maintaining accurate project records and reporting progress to leadership.
Liaise with local utilities and AHJs for permit applications and interconnection documentation.

Proven experience managing residential or commercial construction/energy projects.
Strong understanding of solar project workflows, including design, permitting, installation, and interconnection.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Exceptional communication skills to coordinate across teams and with customers.
Tech-savvy and comfortable with project management and collaboration tools.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
PMP certification or equivalent project management experience.
