Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and versatile General Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide expert legal guidance across a variety of business matters, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws while supporting strategic initiatives across our divisions. You will play a critical role in protecting the company’s interests, mitigating risk, and helping the business grow responsibly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel and support to the company on contracts, business operations, labor and employment matters, immigration compliance, and corporate governance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to minimize risk and protect company interests.
- Advise management and internal teams on regulatory compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution.
- Support HR and operational teams with employment law matters, workplace policies, and employee relations issues.
- Conduct legal research and stay up to date with changes in laws and regulations affecting the company and its clients.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external counsel as needed to resolve legal issues efficiently.
- Assist in developing company policies and procedures that align with legal requirements and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in the relevant state(s).
- 3 years of experience as a corporate, business, or general counsel attorney, ideally with exposure to HR, immigration, or labor law.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, corporate compliance, contracts, and risk management.
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear guidance for non-legal teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
