We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves overseeing all kitchen operations, menu development, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety are maintained across all dining services, including our onsite restaurant, and banquet events.
Duties
• Lead and manage the entire culinary team, including supervising kitchen staff and ensuring effective shift management
• Develop innovative menus that align with restaurant branding and customer preferences,
incorporating dietary considerations when necessary
• Oversee food production, preparation, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served
• Manage inventory control and food safety procedures to minimize waste and ensure compliance with health regulations
• Coordinate banquets and special functions, ensuring seamless execution from planning to service
• Oversee kitchen operations including staffing schedules, training programs, and performance
evaluations
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation within the kitchen environment
• Collaborate with management on budget planning, cost control, and procurement strategies
• Ensure excellent food service management by supervising food handling practices and maintaining quality standards
Requirements
• Proven experience in fine dining, banquet, or catering environments with a strong background in
restaurant management, wine industry knowledge preferred
• Supervising experience with a demonstrated ability to lead a diverse culinary team effectively
• Extensive culinary experience including food production, menu planning, food safety, and kitchen management
• Knowledge of inventory management, inventory control, and cost control strategies
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative team environment
• Experience in food service management, hospitality, and food industry standards
• Excellent skills in food handling, cooking, food preparation, and food management practices
• Familiarity with dietary department requirements and accommodating special dietary needs
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
