Position Summary
The Part-Time Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the school building, facilities, and equipment are maintained in excellent condition. This position involves performing routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep to provide a safe, clean, and functional environment for students, staff, and visitors. The Maintenance Manager will work closely with the Maintenance Director, school staff, and outside vendors to support the overall operations of the school.
Key Responsibilities
Facilities and Equipment Maintenance
- Maintain all aspects of the school building in good repair.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities as needed.
- Address and resolve any building or equipment issues promptly.
- Replace light bulbs and perform other basic maintenance tasks as needed.
Support and Logistics
- Assist school staff and vendors with deliveries, including unloading, uncrating, assembling, and placing goods and materials.
- Support transportation needs by retrieving, delivering, or assembling procured or donated goods and materials.
- Clean, repair, and maintain both new and used equipment and furniture as needed.
Grounds and Seasonal Maintenance
- Maintain school grounds, including weed removal and basic landscaping.
- Remove snow and apply ice melt to sidewalks and walkways to ensure safety.
Collaboration and Scheduling
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Director to plan and schedule contract work and other facility needs.
- Communicate effectively with school staff to ensure maintenance priorities are met.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 25.0 per week
