What You'll Do
As part of our construction crew, you'll work on all phases of site development and building construction. Every day is different and may include:
- Site excavation and grading
- Concrete forming and pouring for footings, foundations, and walls
- Flatwork preparation and finishing (sidewalks, patios, and slabs)
- Installing and stripping concrete wall forms
- Backfilling, grading, compacting, and trenching
- General building and site construction
- Material handling and site cleanup
- Operating construction equipment, including: Excavators, Skid steers, Forklifts
- Working safely alongside an experienced construction crew to build apartment communities from the ground up
What We're Looking For
- Construction experience preferred (concrete and excavation experience are a plus)
- Equipment operating experience is preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet throughout the day
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to follow directions and work safely
- Team player who takes pride in quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license preferred
