800x600 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 LOCATION: Shreveport, LADEPARTMENT: MaintenanceREPORTS TO: Utility and Services PMG LeaderSUMMARY OF POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES: · Ensure the electrical reliability of the plant’s utilities, overhead cranes, and hoists.· Participate in morning meetings to discuss and resolve utilities and crane-related issues.· Assist contractors when necessary, including availability for on-call support.· Develop appropriate PMs and SOPs for utilities and crane equipment.· Perform daily inspections to ensure equipment reliability.· Continuously seek improvements in processes, techniques, and safety practices.· Possess the skills to replace drives or PLCs (including downloading parameters and making basic programming changes) without assistance.· Setting and configuration of sensors and transmitters for, temperature, flow, pressure, distance, speed, etc. · Experience working on Medium-voltage transformers, switchgears and protection relays is required.· Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.· Use SAP and E-Merge/Sphera systems to maintain critical spare parts in the storeroom.· Read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams, schematics, and manuals for utilities, cranes, and hoists.· Participate in root cause analysis and ABC meetings to identify and resolve issues affecting critical cranes.· Coordinate effective repairs and maintenance of facility crane equipment using SAP.· Responsible for daily and regulatory crane inspections and periodic load testing for all plant cranes.· Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned. Knowledge/Skills and Abilities: · Technical certification in Electricity, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or a related electrical field.· Minimum of 3 years of experience working with cranes in industrial settings.· Minimum of 3 years of experience working with medium-voltage transformers, switchgears, and protection relays.· Strong background in AC and DC electromechanical and solid-state motor control systems.· Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.· Competency working with 480V, 3-phase motor control systems.· Expertise with PLCs and Variable Frequency Drives.· Basic mechanical experience with gear reducers, drive systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.· Ability to perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure crane and hoist reliability.· Excellent communication skills.· Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.· Strong safety awareness and experience.· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, coworkers, and management.
