Responsibilities
- Conduct pest inspections and identify pest species using entomological knowledge to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Apply pesticides and chemical agents following strict safety protocols, pesticide management guidelines, and integrated pest management practices.
- Operate company vehicles, power tools, hand tools, and ladder equipment safely during outdoor work or confined space entry procedures.
- Perform pest control treatments in residential, commercial, agricultural, or landscaping settings with precision and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of chemical usage, treatment locations, and pest activity reports for compliance and future reference.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatment procedures, answer questions, and provide ongoing pest prevention advice.
- Follow all safety protocols including respiratory protection measures, ladder safety procedures, and confined space entry safety procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring strict compliance with Florida state and federal regulations.
- Drive technician development, recruiting, training & mentoring.
- Increase customer base in residential and commercial business.
- Optimize daily routing, manage inventory and hit branch performance KPIs.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Florida General Household Pest Control Operator (JF#) with comprehensive knowledge of pesticide application techniques and pesticide management regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in pest control methods, chemical handling, entomology principles, and integrated pest management strategies.
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of ladder use, ladder safety procedures, confined space entry safety procedures, and respiratory protection protocols.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- Route Management Software experience preferred.
