Position Overview
The Outside Sales Representative drives revenue growth across the East Coast region by prospecting, consulting, and closing sales for premium Paint Protection Film (PPF) and window tinting solutions. This role focuses on building strategic relationships with automotive dealerships and custom shops to deliver high-performance film and protective coatings.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory Prospecting & Business Development: Build and manage a robust pipeline across the East Coast by targeting automotive dealerships, detail centers, architectural partners, and fleet accounts.
- On-Site Consultations & Estimating: Perform property and vehicle evaluations, present tailored PPF and window tint options based on client goals (heat rejection, UV defense, security, aesthetics), and deliver accurate pricing proposals.
- Technical Sales Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations showcasing film performance metrics, product durability, and warranty coverage to prospective buyers.
- Operations & Install Alignment: Work directly with shop managers and certified installers to communicate job specifications, ensure accurate measurements, and maintain seamless turnarounds.
- Account Management & Pipeline Tracking: Maintain active communication with key B2B accounts, track sales performance in the CRM, and hit monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
Qualifications
- Industry Experience: 2 years of proven B2B or B2C sales experience specifically within the Paint Protection Film (PPF), automotive window tint, or architectural film industry.
- Technical Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of film specs (VLT, IR heat rejection, mil thickness, self-healing properties) and installation nuances.
- Education & Credentials: High School Diploma or equivalent required; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Sales Capabilities: Demonstrated track record of closing high-ticket trade solutions and growing regional account portfolios.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel regularly across assigned East Coast markets to meet prospects and manage accounts.
