Position Overview
The primary objective of this position is to continue sales growth and development of the assigned territory by generating new business and servicing existing accounts. The Outside Sales Account Manager will communicate on a regular basis with the District Sales Manager, Troy and Branch Staff. The Outside Sales Account Manager will complete the daily job functions while adhering to Company Policies, Procedures, and Quality Standards.
Essential Job Functions
- Service existing accounts within assigned territory.
- Develop new accounts within assigned territory.
- Follow-up on sales leads provided by Management.
- Develop and improve your territory and routes.
- Monitor collections on monthly basis with Accounts Receivable Department.
- Work trade shows as determined by Management.
- Maintain personal inventory:
- Rotate all stock.
- Keep all stock in saleable condition.
- Check email and voicemail with the appropriate frequency to maintain normal business flow.
- Communicate with District Sales Manager, Troy and Branch staff regarding all time off.
