Essential Job Tasks:
Strategic And Commercial Leadership
- Act as a key strategic partner to TUS leadership, conducting deep-dive analyses and providing data-driven recommendations.
- Work with leadership to develop and execute the North American commercial strategy, identifying new opportunities and setting clear strategic objectives.
- Serve as the extended arm of the global commercial development team in the Americas, supporting group and regional business unit leadership in creating go-to-market plans.
- Actively contributes to the global new product development process, providing solid market insights and strategic foresight to shape decision-making. Ensure timely and successful launches in the region.
- Work closely with regional and global marketing to ensure sales priorities align with strategic, tactical, and operational marketing plans.
- Be the regional commercial track owner of new product development and select global strategic initiatives and represent the region at key global commercial forums.
- Develop and maintain a robust framework for tracking and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs). Proactively identify performance gaps and work with the team to implement mitigative actions.
- Ensure sales efficiency and effectiveness by tracking and analyzing CRM data.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and internal data to provide leadership with a clear understanding of the business landscape and performance drivers.
- Lead and facilitate focused workshops with key stakeholders to align teams on strategic priorities and foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Partner closely with various departments globally and regionally—including product management, engineering, and finance—to ensure a cohesive approach to strategy development and implementation.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis, strategic planning, management consulting or similar commercial role OR equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in a B2B or B2G environment, preferably with a focus on highly technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to manage and interpret large data sets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information and influence senior stakeholders.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a track record of driving initiatives from conception to completion.
- Highly collaborative approach
- Willingness to travel Domestic and International
- US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Security clearance.
- Experience working in an SSA FOCI organization.
- Experience in an aerospace/defense organization.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira) and CRM systems
- Experience in an international business
