GL Accountant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail oriented and motivated GL Accountant to join our team. This role will support the Corporate Controller in daily operations and onsite accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general ledger processes and be able to maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Corporate Controller in managing daily accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data through regular audits and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze financial information.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
• Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 2 years of experience in general ledger accounting or related area.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Salary (Depending on Experience): $80,000
