This role requires a “jack of all trades” mindset, with the ability to assist across multiple phases of construction while working closely with the Project Manager. The ideal candidate is hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable using a variety of tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general construction tasks including demolition, site prep, framing, and finishing work
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Support the Project Manager with job-related tasks, including material handling, site organization, and task coordination
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Follow instructions and complete tasks independently or as part of a team
- Assist skilled trades (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.) as needed
- Perform basic repairs and troubleshooting on-site issues
- Previous construction or general labor experience
- Ability to use common hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to take direction and adapt to changing job site needs
- Basic understanding of construction processes and safety practices
- Reliable transportation and punctuality required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Experience in multiple trades (carpentry, drywall, painting, etc.)
- OSHA certification or familiarity with job site safety standards
