Teramore Development LLC is seeking a strategic and experienced Controller to join our team of high-performing professionals. As a key member of our leadership team, this position will play a critical role in guiding the financial strategy and operations that support our growing commercial real estate development pipeline. Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision and oversight of all accounting and finance functions, including subsidiary records, policies and procedures
- Oversee the accounting team
- Lead the company’s financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities
- Develop and implement risk management strategies
- Analyze and manage the company’s liabilities, assets and investments
- Monitor and interpret financial and non-financial KPIs to inform strategic decisions
- Ensure appropriate and sustainable cash flow management
- Maintain strong relationships with banks, external CPA firms, auditors and key vendors
- Oversee accurate and timely preparations and presentation of financial reports and statements
- Conduct and deliver ad hoc financial analyses and reports for leadership
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal company policies
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required, MBA preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong use MS Office skills required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership, organizational and team management abilities
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a strong advantage
- Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar executive leadership role
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and related financial software
