Duties
- Prepare and cook dishes according to menu specifications, with an emphasis on wok-based meals
- Assist in menu planning and development to ensure quality and consistency
- Ensure all food is prepared safely and meets food safety standards
- Handle food ingredients with proper hygiene practices and maintain cleanliness of work stations
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during peak hours while maintaining high-quality standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes
- Maintain inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Support the team during catering events or special menu offerings as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling and kitchen operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles, preferably within a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning and meal preparation for diverse dietary needs
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
