What you’ll do
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly and taking their orders efficiently.
- Assist in food preparation and cooking to ensure high-quality dishes are served promptly.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for cash handling and transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including dining spaces and kitchen equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory control to ensure supplies are always stocked.
- Support team members through training and development initiatives to enhance service quality.
- Collaborate with management to implement effective shift management strategies for smooth operations.
- Uphold food safety standards and practices to ensure a safe dining experience for all guests.
Basic qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast-paced food service environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is essential.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Aloha or Micros POS systems is a plus.
- Background in culinary arts or hospitality management is advantageous.
- Familiarity with inventory control processes and budgeting practices is beneficial.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience within the food industry is desirable.
