Salary: $120,000.00 ABOUT THE JOB The Tepa Companies are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee complex industrial and federal construction projects from award through closeout. This role is responsible for managing project financials, schedules, subcontractors, client relationships, quality, and safety while ensuring successful project execution across DoD and industrial fueling system projects. The ideal candidate has strong experience managing federal construction or industrial service projects, particularly involving fueling systems, maintenance, repair, and related infrastructure work. Job Functions: Manage day-to-day project operations including financial performance, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality, and safety Plan, coordinate, integrate, monitor, and support preparation of project and contract proposals Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and specifications Maintain active communication with clients regarding project status, schedule, budget, and technical progress Prepare and submit timely and accurate invoicing Coordinate with Program Management to assemble appropriate project teams Manage project scope changes and contract modifications Identify growth and development opportunities for project staff Ensure compliance with company purchasing requirements Perform project closeout activities and maintain project documentation Monitor project performance and report variances from plan while recommending corrective actions Prepare declarations of revenue Participate in professional development and industry activities to support corporate growth and visibility Coordinate with leadership regarding project financial performance, quality, technical execution, and safety compliance Develop project proposal costing and pricing Implement and manage project budgets Support business development efforts within the industrial services program Participate in contract and specification review meetings prior to project execution Distribute approved contract documents and specifications to internal stakeholders Travel to project sites 1–2 times per month or as directed by leadership WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field with 4 years of progressive project/program management experience including financial and supervisory responsibility OR High School diploma or GED with 8 years of progressive project/program management experience including financial and supervisory responsibility Experience in DoD fueling systems repair, maintenance, or construction Experience in construction quality control Experience in client management and/or business development Familiarity with Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS), Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), OSHA standards, and USACE EM-385 requirements Strong understanding of federal government contract types including: Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time & Materials (T&M) Proven ability to manage project schedules, budgets, scopes, subcontractors, and internal resources Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word Strong attention to detail Must be able to pass a background check required for access to U.S. military installations Valid driver’s license required Ability to travel to project sites as needed The following certifications are preferred but not required: API 570 Piping Inspector API 653 Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector Steel Tank Institute Tank Systems Inspector AMPP Level I Coatings Inspector Project Management Professional (PMP) Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Tepa is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
