The Tepa Companies will be seeking a Project Engineer who will assist project teams to create world class designs for new projects, alterations, and redevelopments on a variety of projects. Junior Engineer will work with the project team throughout the design and construction process, adapting civil plans according to budget constraints, design factors or client needs.

About The Job
The Tepa Companies will be seeking a Project Engineer who will assist project teams to create world class designs for new projects, alterations, and redevelopments on a variety of projects. Junior Engineer will work with the project team throughout the design and construction process, adapting civil plans according to budget constraints, design factors or client needs.
Job Functions:
- Assists in site development design for grading, drainage, sewer, water, erosion control, and road design.
- Collaborates with engineers, designers, and field personnel involved in the design, modification, analysis, and constructability.
- Works on challenging assignments that include investigating, troubleshooting, and solving a wide variety of engineering and construction related issues.
- Assists in preparing and reviewing of proposals, contracts, or cost estimates.
- Performs designs for underground and overhead power installations.
- Supports efforts to ensure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.
- Interfaces with vendors to prepare materials and equipment purchase specifications for client recommendations.
- Assists in coordination of detailed design phases for all aspects of utility engineering work.
- Researches available equipment and proven pre-engineered systems to utilize for the execution of required project designs.
- Prepares reports and studies that present technical information in a clear and concise manner and meet client requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Graduating in 2026 with a bachelor’s degree in engineering focus: civil, architectural, mechanical, structural, fire protection or another applicable major from an ABET accredited program
- Engineer-In Training certification preferred
- One (1) internship completed in relevant field
- US Citizen with ability to get on military bases
- Basic knowledge in standard engineering techniques, principles, and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
- Proficient computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Basic computer skills (e.g., MicroStation, Civil 3D), and civil analysis programs.
- Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities and short deadlines.
Salary : $70,720 - $76,960
