We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to support Market Oversight and Market Surveillance products focused on identifying and preventing non-compliance and market abuse. This role owns the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and feature definition and operates in a data?intensive, highly regulated environment.
The portfolio includes 100 existing surveillance patterns, with multiple initiatives focused on modernization and refactoring. This is a high?autonomy role requiring strong stakeholder partnership, data fluency, and full lifecycle product ownership.

- Build and evolve products that oversee market integrity and regulatory compliance
- Support surveillance domains including:
- Short sales & Options and prohibited trading
- Participate in future initiatives involving crypto and digital asset markets
- Prior blockchain/crypto exposure is a plus, not required
- Industry experience is beneficial, but strong product instincts and learning agility are highly valued
User Insight & Product Definition
- Develop a deep understanding of:
- Business problems and regulatory objectives
- Analyst workflows and user needs
- Relevant upstream and downstream data sources
- Define product vision, strategy, requirements, and success criteria
- Use data, research, and stakeholder input to identify gaps and opportunities
- Perform pre?work ahead of meetings to drive efficient and productive discussions
- Own and manage the product roadmap for assigned surveillance products
- Maintain and prioritize domain backlogs across:
- Enhancements, Change requests, Refactoring and modernization efforts, New surveillance onboarding
- Make trade?off decisions based on value, risk, and resource capacity
- Build strong partnerships with:
- Business stakeholders
- Analyst and surveillance teams
- Engineering, architecture, and UI/UX teams
- Participate in intake processes and coordinate dependencies across teams
- Lead product planning by creating:
- User stories
- Acceptance criteria
- Use cases and requirements documentation
- Prioritize work using data, analytics, and regulatory impact
- Align roadmap priorities with user value and delivery capacity
- Partner with UI/UX to guide the user experience for analyst?facing tools
- Define release goals, timelines, and iteration plans
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure effective delivery
- Review demos and validate acceptance criteria
- Track development progress at the product level
- Identify risks to delivery timelines or quality and:
- Assess alternatives – Build mitigation plans – Communicate clearly to leadership
- Define UAT strategy, timelines, and success metrics
- Coordinate formal UAT where required
- Lead product launches in partnership with cross?functional stakeholders
- Develop product documentation and user training materials
- Track launch metrics and incorporate feedback into future iterations
- Lead post?launch reviews and continuous improvements
- Monitor product health, adoption, and performance trends
- Work with internal and external users to identify and resolve product?level issues
- Define and track metrics to measure ongoing product success
- Gather user feedback to identify enhancement opportunities or end?of?life plans
- Represent the product in business reviews and stakeholder discussions
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior product managers
- Stay current on industry trends, research, and best practices in product management

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Communications, or related field
- 5 years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Compliance or broker?dealer compliance environments
- Compliance project or program management
- Business analysis
- Product management or product marketing
- Experience with:
- Product development or software lifecycles
- Data analysis and querying
- Cross?functional collaboration in large organizations
- Working closely with leadership
- Translating data into quantifiable outcomes
- Experience with market operations or regulatory compliance
