You’ll play a key role in shaping how sensitive data is protected across the organization. This isn’t a maintenance role. It’s a chance to build, refine, and influence security controls at scale.
What You’ll Be Doing
We’re hiring two Cybersecurity Engineers to join a growing security team within a large, enterprise environment. This is a high-impact, hands-on role focused on a major Data Loss Prevention (DLP) initiative.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how sensitive data is protected across the organization. This isn’t a maintenance role. It’s a chance to build, refine, and influence security controls at scale.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and support a large-scale DLP initiative across the enterprise
- Design and implement targeted security controls (not broad, generic work)
- Help enforce least privilege access principles across systems and users
- Work heavily within a Check Point security environment
- Support and enhance ShareFile usage, moving beyond manual portal-based workflows
- Integrate and secure file-sharing processes within Microsoft 365 and Outlook
- Partner with Security, IT, and Compliance teams on SOC-driven controls and requirements
- Help refine and reduce unnecessary security checkpoints to improve efficiency without increasing risk
- 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Deep experience with Check Point security technologies
- Experience working in enterprise environments with complex security needs
- Experience with ShareFile or similar file-sharing platforms
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security and integrations
- Background in regulated industries such as:
- Banking (strongly preferred)
- Financial services / capital markets/ Insurance
- Security team of ~10–12 professionals
- Fast-moving, collaborative, and execution-focused
- Emphasis on enterprise-level security strategy and compliance (SOC)
- Strong alignment between security, infrastructure, and business needs
