The Logistics Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring products, materials, and resources are efficiently scheduled, tracked, and delivered. This individual will work closely with operations, warehouse personnel, vendors, and transportation partners to support business objectives and customer commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
- Schedule transportation and delivery activities
- Maintain communication with carriers, vendors, and internal teams
- Track inventory movement and shipment status
- Assist with warehouse and distribution planning
- Monitor transportation schedules and resolve delivery issues
- Maintain accurate records and reporting related to logistics activities
- Support operational planning and resource allocation
- Collaborate with management to improve logistics efficiency and service levels
Qualifications
Required
- 2 years of logistics, supply chain, transportation, or operations experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Experience coordinating shipments and managing schedules
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
Preferred
- Manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse experience
- Experience working with ERP systems (Business Central preferred)
- Transportation Management System (TMS) experience
- Inventory management experience
- Knowledge of freight, carrier, and transportation processes
- Experience supporting multi-site operations
Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
