1st Shift Hours Monday-Friday 6:15a-2:15p
Starting pay $17.50
POSITION TITLE: Injection Molding Operator
REPORTS TO: Injection Molding Superintendent
DEPARTMENT: 12 - Injection Molding
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for operating molding press.
· Monitor quality of parts being produced, performing visual quality checks throughout the shift.
· Troubleshoot minor machine issues.
· Perform start up and shut down of machinery.
· Keeps area clean and safe throughout shift.
· Can accurately use scale to weigh bins/boxes.
· Able to maintain daily production requirements.
· Communicates with Shift Lead regarding any quality, machine, or safety issues.
· Proficient in applicable computer programs. (CMS, SPC, TENTE Portal)
· Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and experience.
· Technically orientated and knowledgeable in manufacturing systems.
· Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
· Able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
· Proficient in computer programs.
EDUCATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
