We're seeking talented and self-motivated software engineers, passionate in tackling complex and difficult problems, to join the Semantic Map Infra team. In this role, you play a crucial role in providing a reliable and scalable semantic map and routing infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy features and services in a large-scale distributed infrastructure.
• Cloud Server of semantic map and graph building and quality inspection software stack.
• Onboard(AV) semantic map engine and map fusion post-process with real-time data and external data.
• Participate in building an auto annotation system, data post-processing and quality inspection.
• Optimize the infrastructure for usability, reliability, low latency, high efficiency, etc.
  
  

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in site reliability engineering or a similar role, with a strong background in designing and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C/C or Python.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS cloud.
• Expertise in container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Networking, GIS, Storage, and Database technologies like Postgresql.
  
  

Preferences

• Experience in semantic map building, auto annotation system, and navigation system.
• 3 years of industrial experience in the backend.
• Deep understanding of one or more of the following: Computational geometry algorithms, GIS, Database, Protobuf, GRPC.
• Professional C experience designing navigation algorithms such as Dijkstra, A*, D*.
• Experinece in OpenDrive and OpenStreetMap.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
