- Develop and maintain Android applications and system-level features that integrate with autonomous driving platforms.
- Lead the design, development, and testing of Android applications, with a focus on performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver high quality features for the Human Machine Interfaces in the autonomous vehicles.
- (Optional) Contribute to autonomous driving data visualization projects for enhanced user experience.
- In-depth understanding of Core Java and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Android components such as Activities, Services, Broadcast Receivers, and Content Providers.
- Proven experience working with Android framework layers and system-level development.
- Proficiency in data structures and algorithm design.
- Experience with JNI for interfacing Java and native modules.
- Strong expertise in multi-threaded programming and middleware development in Android environments.
- Solid understanding of IPC mechanisms and operating system fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Git or similar configuration management tools.
- Knowledge of Kotlin and Unit Testing frameworks is an added advantage
