We are seeking an experienced multi-client Bookkeeper with strong expertise in daily transactional accounting using QuickBooks Online to join our team part-time.
The ideal candidate is committed to remote work, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. This is a part-time position that fluctuates 20 to 30 hours and is not suitable for night or weekend work due to team collaboration requirements and client needs.
We operate in a fast-paced, multi-client environment, where success depends on the ability to multitask effectively, produce highly detailed work, critical thinking and process information with accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer the main phone line professionally
- Process and administer bi-weekly payroll
- Perform daily transactional bookkeeping/accounting using QuickBooks Online bank feeds
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including:
- Invoice processing
- AR Payments
- Weekly vendor account reconciliations
- Post and reconcile revenue
- Complete monthly bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations
- Manage the monthly close process in accordance with GAAP
- Monitor, maintain, and organize the Chart of Accounts
- Manage the general ledger and post all journal entries and transactions
- Support Tenridge staff with accounting projects as needed
- Develop and monitor cash flow projections
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of proven accounting/ bookkeeping experience
- Degree in Accounting or a related field required
- Work experience in CPA firm is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles
- Experience with full-cycle accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online Payroll and Time software
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
