Job Summary

The HR Generalist supports the HR function at the Lincolnton site in close coordination with the Head of HR & Accounting and the existing HR organization. The purpose of the role is to ensure efficient, consistent, and service-oriented operational HR support across the full employee lifecycle.

The role also includes HR support for employees of the Südwolle Group, taking into account the applicable Südwolle standards.

Main Responsibilities

Operational HR support

o Independently performs and supports administrative and operational HR processes, including onboarding and offboarding, employment contracts, personnel measures, and maintenance of employee master data.

o Actively contributes to the recruiting process, including job requirement profiles, selection processes, and candidate communication.

o Assumes responsibility for employee support activities, including employee inquiries, individual HR matters and operational support for managers.

o Ensures close alignment and regular coordination with the Head of HR & Accounting and the HR Specialist.

Support for employees and managers

o Acts as a point of contact for HR-related questions from employees and managers.

o Provides support in operational personnel matters and ensures the consistent application of applicable HR policies and procedures.

o Supports managers in preparing, coordinating, and documenting HR-related measures.

o Ensures timely, service-oriented and professional communication with employees and managers.

o Assists with absence management, disciplinary matters, and employee communication in close coordination with the responsible HR and management functions.

Collaboration with Südwolle Group

o Provides HR support for employees of the affiliated Südwolle Group organization.

o Ensures compliance with the applicable policies, standards, and procedures of the respective organization.

o Coordinates HR matters across organizational boundaries where required and ensures clear alignment with the responsible stakeholders.

Employment law and compliance

o Supports employment law-related matters and prepares or coordinates required HR documentation within the defined scope of responsibility.

o Supports the implementation and consistent application of internal policies, compliance requirements and HR standards.

o Ensures that HR documentation is complete, accurate and prepared in accordance with applicable legal and internal requirements.

HR processes and projects

o Contributes to the continuous improvement and standardization of HR processes.

o Supports local and group-wide HR projects as required, including preparation, implementation support, and follow-up activities.

o Assists in the preparation of reports, HR data, documentation, and process-related materials.

Employee experience

o Ensures service-oriented, reliable and professional HR support for employees and managers.

o Contributes to a positive employee experience through timely communication, solution-oriented support, and consistent HR service delivery.

o Supports a respectful, professional and cooperative working environment.

Additional Duties

In addition to the duties listed in this job description, the job holder is required, upon instruction from the supervisor, to carry out individual assignments that are substantially related to the role or arise from operational necessity.

Qualification Requirements

Completed commercial, HR-related, or comparable professional training; alternatively, a relevant college or university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
