Job Overview:

The Facilities Maintenance Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance and operations of our hospital and all facilities on the main campus and offsite locations.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Provides routine and complex project leadership and coordination with involved parties and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance of all equipment.
• Timely filing and securing of permits, licensing, certificates and requires reporting is essential.
• Lead a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to promote professional growth.
• Responsible for effective communications at all levels.
• Interfaces and coordinates routinely with Safety, Environmental Services, Security, Emergency Management and other departments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance management in a HOSPITAL SETTING IS PREFERRED.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associated college education preferred. Bachelors preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
• Knowledge of building maintenance, construction and regulatory requirements; hands-on skills/knowledge of trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc.
• Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project execution.
• The ability to read and understand building prints and project documents are required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
