What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Porter / Lot Attendant position at Tennmotors?
We are a fast growing company that has been in business for 8 years, get in on the ground floor and build a career with us. The owners left big franchise dealerships to start Tennmotors to do things differently. We wanted to create a company with a positive work environment, provide the best car buying experience for our customers, and a place that we enjoy coming to every day.
Responsibilities:
- Drive vehicles to and from shops.
- Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the inventory manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of the lot
- Help with general light mechanic duties such as replacing batteries and trim pieces.
- Quality Control Inspections / Drives
- Gas vehicles
- Make key tags for vehicles.
- Take and upload pictures of vehicles
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Order Tires
- Use IRecon Software to maintain Order and Organization of Inventory
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow directions and execute efficiently.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
This position requires individuals who are reliable, responsible, and have a strong attention to detail. As a Lot Attendant, there will be a lot of moving around outside with bad weather at times.
