Duties
- Assist in player development including providing technical, tactical, and mental feedback to the players
- Supervise the practices, and follow through with the implemented drills and exercises
- Provide clear instruction on techniques, rules, and safety measures to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience.
- Manage behavior and foster a respectful team environment through effective behavior management strategies.
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive attitude among participants to build self-esteem and social skills.
- Track attendance, progress reports, and provide feedback to help participants set goals for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a tennis player, either collegiately or professionally. A former or current UTR level of 10 or higher, as the pro will be required to hit sometimes.
- Demonstrated ability to teach students with patience and enthusiasm.
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques to promote discipline and respect during activities.
- Experience working with competitive junior tennis players
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct participants and collaborate with team members
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
