INTERNET SHIPPING & RECEIVING ASSOCIATE

REPORTS TO: Parts Manger

SEPW.COM is a division of Tennies ACE Hardware is the authorized warranty center for Briggs Stratton, Kohler, Kawasaki, Honda, Echo, MTD, Simplicity Manufacturing, Stihl & Toro Power Equipment. We sell Small Engine Parts over the counter and Internet. We ship parts to customers throughout the United States.

Position Summary
The Associate is responsible for processing Internet Sales Orders and assisting in pulling, shipping & tracking parts orders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Process Sales Orders from SEPW.COM. Assist in pulling, packaging, shipping and tracking Sales Order to completion and any follow up with customer.
• Assist in receiving and stocking parts.
• Answering the phone and emails. Assisting customers look up small engine parts through SEPW.COM and Parts Smart software System.
• Maintains positive working relationships and interactions with co-workers in the parts department and shop.
• Lead by example, and provides guidance for other parts department employees as needed, in regards to company policies and procedures such as attendance, conduct and dress code.
• Keeps work station and equipment clean and clear.
• Ensures compliance with company safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual will demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate and interact, in a positive manner, with all Company personnel, customers. The ability to look up parts using a computer with Parts Smart Software and completing the sale. The ability to order and check in parts into our inventory system.

Education, Certification and License:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required;
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record is required.

Experience:

• A minimum of 1-3 years of over the counter sales experience preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of small engines or automotive repair a plus.
• Previous equipment operating experience (lawn mowers, string trimmers, hedge trimmers, or other used in landscape maintenance) is preferred.
• We are willing to train the right candidate with mechanical background and positive attitude.

• Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Computer skills and ability to update computerized work orders and systems.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot and diagnosis issues.
• Ability to problem-solve and quickly identify solutions.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is helpful.

Physical Requirements:

• Stands for long periods of time throughout the day.
• Continuously squats, stoops, or kneels and lifts objects from ground.
• Able to lift weight of up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally carries and pushes/pulls weights of up to 40 pounds or more..
